Eigentlich haben wir schon seit einem guten Monat versucht uns aus dem Weg zu gehen. Ich bin dann auch mal nach Newtown (Stadtteil) abgehaun (tolle Cafes, Kneipen, gute Muke, Kuenstler - das laesst das Jennyherz hoeher schlagen), was man allerdings nicht als grossartige Trennung verstehen kann, da wir uns trotzdem jeden 2. Tag gesehen haben. Nun aber ist es soweit: Die Geldnot trennt uns. Keine Piepen mehr! No money, no worries! haha!

Andrea wird versuchen sich hier in Sydney als Barbraut einen goldenen Latz zu verdienen, meinereiner geht zurueck nach Melbourne Feldarbeit verrichten (naeher gabs nix wegen dem schlechten Wetter - ist noch nicht reif das Gemuese. Und: Wer will schon unreifes Gemuese?!)

Natuerlich wuenschen wir euch auch noch ein wunderschoenes gutes, neues Jahr. Des muessen wir euch nicht unbedingt sagen, das wisst ihr aber doch. Wir denken doch stets an euch!!! Vergessen? Niemals. Euch? Wie soll das denn bitte gehen?!

Wir sind nun aus Wollongong wieder zurueck nach Sydney und ab sofort auf der traurigen Suche nach Arbeit. Was sein muss, das muss. Und jetzt muss es leider eben. Dumm irgendwie, aber was soll man machen? (Tipps und Tricks aus Omas Naehkaestchen werden gerne entgegen genommen - Geldscheine sticken?)

Ansonsten gehts uns hier recht plump und rund, teils rosig, und wir erfreuen uns auch nach (schon!) 5 Monaten noch an Australiens Schoenheit und Leuten. Uns gehts praechtig, herrlich und einfach gut! Wir sind der Meinung, das war genau die richtige Entscheidung fuer uns zwei Huehner. Staendig nur am Gackern. Aber schee is! Manchmal, aber nur manchmal, da haengt einem der ganze Freizeitstress allerdings doch zum Hals raus. Jeden Tag lange ausschlafen, was essen, weiterschlafen, rumlaufen, nette Leute treffen, bis in die Puppen weggehen, ausschlafen. Das stresst sagen wir euch. Nicht nachmachen!

Wir sind wieder in unserem schoenen Hostel “Wood Duck Inn” in Sydney angekommen. Neuseeland war wirklich dufte. Nach drei Tagen Aufenthalt in Auckland kennen wir jetzt genau einen Plattenladen. Den besten den es gibt wohlgemerkt!!! Dann schnappten wir uns einen Van und sind erstmal in den Norden hoch (Regenwald, Ureinwohner, Strand, Regen). Darauf kurz zurueck nach Auckland, um ein Konzert zu besuchen (Danke fuer den Tipp an Alex u Flo) und weiter die Insel runter zu Vulkankratern, Geysiren und Schwefelloechern. Schon am ersten Tag mit Van wurden wir aufgehalten, doch wollte uns der freundliche Herr Polizist nur den Weg zeigen und zum Glueck nicht den Fuehrerschein sehen, der nicht so ganz 100pro gueltig gewesen waere. Auch Jenny hat sich wieder hinters Steuer getraut (nach 6 Jahren), was ein Adrenalinkick fuer uns beide war. Heimflug von Wellington hat reibungslos funktioniert; trotz Umsteigens. Andrea wurde allerdings wieder kontrolliert. Schmuggelware ist trotzdem durch, denn wir sind ja saugut!!

Wir sind sicher in Auckland angekommen. Dass das allerdings nicht ganz so einfach war, erzaehl ich euch hier:

Wir zwo fahren rechtzeitig von unserem Hostel in Sydney los. Mal nicht wie immer auf den letzten Druecker. Im Auto stellen wir beide fest, dass wir ja durchaus alles auf die Reihe bringen und gar nicht mal so planlos sind. Aber allzusehr wollten wir unser Glueck dann doch nicht verschreien. Lieber auf der sicheren Seite sein … Wir checkten ein, liessen uns ordentlich Zeit (waren ja rechtzeitig da), assen noch was, waren noch im Internet und und und … wir gingen durch die Leibesvisitation … und da stellten wir fest, dass es schon 18:45 ist. Bording time war 17:45. Tja, und verstanden haben wir unser kleines Missgeschick beide nicht. Andrea, die ja auch bombig ausschaut, wurde in der Hetze auch noch auf Bombenverdacht kontrolliert… viel zu spaet, also ueber eine Stunde, kommen wir also am Flieger an, etwas durcheinander aber wohlfrisiert, und wir haben ihn noch bekommen … weil der liebe Gott es so dermassen hat regnen lassen, dass der Vogel einfach net frueher los konnt … und so sassen wir nun uebergluecklich zwischen total angenervten Passagieren in unserem Flieger. Soviel dazu. Laeuterungen der Elternwelt werden an dieser Stelle nicht entgegengenommen.
